Menapause or menapose is a common misspelling of menopause. However, lots of people seem to spell menopause ‘menapause’ and… perhaps it does not matter. Menopose is a natural biological event that every woman will go through. This is a physical thing though there are lots of emotional parts to it. Your body will begin going through changes prior to the actual menopause starting and this is called peri menopause.

At the age for menapause and natural menapause, the body reduces the production of estrogen to 40% or 60% of what it was. At the same time, since there’s no longer ovulation, the production of progesterone is reduced to almost zero. And the ovaries no longer respond to the FSH and LH prompt by ovulating. This may mean the final depletion of eggs and follicles in the female body.

A woman has reached the menopause when she has stopped menstruating for 12 months in a row. Natural menapause or average age of menapause usually occurs between the ages of 45 and 55. Many women wonder and worry about what will happen when they reach menopause.

Lots of women experience hot flashes, depression, and anxiety and sleep issues like insomnia and fatigue when they are perimenopausal. Menopose is a natural biological event that every woman will go through. This is a physical thing though there are lots of emotional parts to it. Your body will begin going through changes prior to the actual menopause starting and this is called peri menopause.

Menapause is simply when your body stops ovulating and has no more eggs left. This means that you will no longer be able to experience pregnancy. Though this seems like an event it is a process that does being with perimenapausal signs. The first thing that you will incur is menstruation irregularities. As you have aged you have likely found that the amount of time between periods was steady though as you get closer into premenopause and eventually menepause shown by bleeding and spotting.

Menapause is the obvious change, but some post-menapausal women lose sexual interest, while others gain sexual interest. Suggestions are that females may have a sexual “off” switch, if having more children would be too physically difficult for them to survive. Another idea is that post-menapausal women would attract less-desireable males away from the more desireable females.
